At a seminar I taught called “Marketing Brand YOU”, I told participants that getting ready for a job interview was pretty much the same as marketing and selling oneself. You are the product; the job interview is the sales pitch; and everything that comes in between that–your CV (curriculum vitae or resumé), the way you dress, the way you walk, how you conduct yourself even before and after the interview–is all part of your marketing and PR strategy. Everything works in concert to land you that job.
But don’t take it from me; I’m just an expert at communicating.

When I get to see pieces of furniture in an office setting that defines sexiness to a different level, I could not help but think of high-fashion boutiques. However, if I am asked what my opinion in putting ‘sexy-ness’ in the office–it should be!
Working for an office where one could sit on fashionable, comfortbale chairs–it gives a different feeling of power and confidence.

Today, with my current work–I noticed that there are couples employed in the organization. Well, personally here at the office, I don’t see any ‘unhealthy’ thing about it since couples do work for different departments.
I remember in an office I used to work for, there was this couple who started out as friends, buddies and eventually they end up as lovers … and got married last year. It was actually a romance that we were witnesses to how it blossomed. We were all happy that they tied the knot.
What worried our boss is that the couple are in the same department. So the greater chances of their work performances would be affected, if ever problems arise between the couple.
