What is a “Cherry Bomb” and why do you need it for work?
Most people who have a job, possibly including you, wants SOMETHING MORE out of it. More money. More time. More fun. More travel. More romance. Whatever the case may be, no job is perfect–even the high-paying ones–and we always find ourselves wondering what else lies out there.
This series of slides is a ChangeThis manifesto by Sally Hogshead (and, yes, that is her real name–the poor thing). She talks about “cherry bombs”, or those “quick but explosive ideas that startle a situation out of paralysis.”
If you can relate with this line, then this one’s for you:
“You’re ready for some sort of change, but don’t know exactly what that change is. You want to move forward, and are willing to sacrifice to do so, but are unsure how to overcome personal or organizational paralysis.”
